{"id":29061,"date":"2019-05-01T16:00:39","date_gmt":"2019-05-01T15:00:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/?p=29061"},"modified":"2019-05-01T16:00:39","modified_gmt":"2019-05-01T15:00:39","slug":"instagram-star-unlucky-with-cars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2019\/05\/01\/instagram-star-unlucky-with-cars\/","title":{"rendered":"Instagram Star Unlucky With Cars"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An unlucky Brummie Instagram star doesn\u2019t have much luck with his cars.<\/p>\n<p>The young entrepreneur has had Porsche wrecked by vandals after it got a makeover and just months after his Lamborghini went up in flames.<\/p>\n<p>Self-made businessman Lak Sira, 22, saw his \u00a3125,000 Lamborghini Gallardo burst into flames earlier this year on a motorway just after he picked it up.<\/p>\n<p>Lak managed to escape from the car with his girlfriend seconds before blaze on Friday, February 22 after he spent \u00a312,000 on having his pride and joy gold-plate and \u00a310,000 on a service at Lamborghini Birmingham.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-29062 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/SEI_64567579-e1556400496100-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/SEI_64567579-e1556400496100-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/SEI_64567579-e1556400496100-629x420.jpg 629w, https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/SEI_64567579-e1556400496100.jpg 644w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now, Lak claims vandals sprayed &#8216;w*****&#8217; and &#8216;s***&#8217; on the side of his \u00a380,000 Porsche when it was parked overnight in London&#8217;s exclusive Knightsbridge.<\/p>\n<p>Lak, who has 179,000 followers, said at the time of the fire: \u201cIf I didn\u2019t get out the car a few moments later it could have been a different story,\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI had only just picked up the car a few hours from the dealership after spending more than \u00a310,000 on servicing it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cBut I noticed straight away that there was something wrong\u00a0as I could smell petrol in the cabin.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut as we were travelling down to London the smell became unbearable and we had to open the windows and get out on the hard shoulder.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHowever, the next thing we heard was a loud bang and the car caught on fire.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The car was left devastated by the serious fire.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I just had to watch helplessly as the car which I had worked so hard to buy went up in smoke.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was very frightening and my girlfriend is scared to get in any car with me now.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A West Midlands Fire Service spokesman confirmed it sent two crews, carrying ten firefighters, to the scene to fight the flames.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cWe were called at 8.54pm to the southbound carriageway of the M6, between junctions 6 and 5, following reports of a Lamborghini on fire.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUpon arrival, crews found the car fully alight and used a hose-reel jet to douse the flames.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An unlucky Brummie Instagram star doesn\u2019t have much luck with his cars.
