{"id":28420,"date":"2019-02-11T16:25:48","date_gmt":"2019-02-11T16:25:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/?p=28420"},"modified":"2019-02-11T16:25:48","modified_gmt":"2019-02-11T16:25:48","slug":"roy-chubby-brown-donates-money-to-family-of-stafford-house-fire-victims","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2019\/02\/11\/roy-chubby-brown-donates-money-to-family-of-stafford-house-fire-victims\/","title":{"rendered":"Roy \u2018Chubby\u2019 Brown donates money to family of Stafford house fire victims"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Roy \u2018Chubby\u2019 Brown donates \u00a3700 to the family of four young siblings killed in a house fire when he performed in Stafford.<\/p>\n<p>The comedian was playing at The Gatehouse Theatre on Friday, three days after four children lost their lives in the blaze.<\/p>\n<p>Riley Holt, eight, Keegan Unitt, six, Tilly Unitt, four, and Olly Unitt, three, were all killed in the blaze in Sycamore Lane, Highfields.<\/p>\n<p>Their mother Natalie Unitt, aged 24, and her partner, 28-year-old Chris Moulton, survived the fire alongside two-year-old Jack.<\/p>\n<p>A 24-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man were arrested in Stoke on Friday on suspicion of manslaughter by gross negligence after the fire and have since been bailed while investigations continue.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.justgiving.com\/crowdfunding\/staffordfire\">fund has now topped \u00a330,000<\/a>\u00a0by more than 1,900 supporters in less than a week. The crowdfunding page was set up by Stephen Glover, a parent of a child at Castle Primary, where Riley, Tilly and Olly were pupils.<\/p>\n<p>A Facebook page has also been set up called \u2018Community Help for Highfields family\u2019 with dozens of people helping.<\/p>\n<p>The school which the children attended have also been very helpful supporting both the children and the staff through this tragic time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Roy \u2018Chubby\u2019 Brown donates \u00a3700 to the family of four young siblings killed in a house fire when he performed in Stafford.
