Two drug traffickers\nfrom the West Midlands were jailed after they were caught with a suitcase-full\nof heroin at Heathrow Airport. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Abid Hussain and\nJanger Khan were stopped as they tried to drive off from Terminal 4 with a massive\nten kilo of heroin street value of \u00a3968,000 that was stashed in a suitcase. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hussain, of Wells\nAvenue in Wednesbury, was picking up his accomplice Khan after he arrived on a\nflight from Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The pair were about\nto leave the airport car park on July 22 2018, when they were stopped by\nofficers from the Met Police Organised Crime Partnership (OCP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hussain, 50, pleaded\nguilty to drug trafficking offences on the first day of the trial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was sentenced to\neight years and one month at Blackfriars Crown Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The jury found\n55-year-old Khan guilty in less than two hours, returning with a unanimous\nverdict. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Khan, of William\nCook Road in Ward End, was jailed for eight years and-a-half years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matt McMillan, OCP\nOperations Manager, said: \u201cThese sentences reflect the severity of Hussain and\nKhan\u2019s criminality and should act as a deterrent for those involved in the\nsupply of drugs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
