{"id":27246,"date":"2018-09-05T10:31:45","date_gmt":"2018-09-05T09:31:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/?p=27246"},"modified":"2018-09-05T10:31:45","modified_gmt":"2018-09-05T09:31:45","slug":"joint-funeral-for-mother-and-daughter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2018\/09\/05\/joint-funeral-for-mother-and-daughter\/","title":{"rendered":"Joint Funeral For Mother and Daughter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The funeral of a mother and daughter who were murdered in Solihull took place Tuesday 4 September.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Khaola Saleem, 49, and daughter Raneem Oudeh, 22, were stabbed to death outside their home in Northdown Road on Bank Holiday Monday<\/p>\n<p>A joint funeral service was held at 2pm today at Ghamkol Masjid in Golden Hillock Road, Small Heath.<\/p>\n<p>Followed by a burial at Widney Manor Cemetery, in Bentley Heath.<\/p>\n<p>Janbaz Tarin, 21, of Evelyn Road, Sparkhill, will be appearing at Birmingham Crown Court today (September 5), charged with their murders.<\/p>\n<p>Ms Saleem\u2019s grieving sister paid a heartbreaking tribute to her in an interview with the BBC.<\/p>\n<p>Nour Norris said mum-of-six Khaola was \u201clike a mother to her\u201d and was \u201cvery special.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEveryone used to think she was my mum,\u201d she said. \u201cThough she\u2019s not much older than me &#8211; not more than ten years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s something about her, because she cared about me so much, everyone had the feeling she was my mum.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were best buddies, people who know us know that. She was my soulmate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLife was just fun around her, that\u2019s all I can say. If you\u2019re sad, she will make you happy and if you\u2019re happy, she\u2019ll make you more happy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe was a mother to all of us. She was even a mother to my mum. Even my mum used to say \u2018she\u2019s my mum as well.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe had very big heart, she was very generous with everything &#8211; with her heart, with her heart, with her money, with her food.<\/p>\n<p>Believe me this one was very special.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>West Midlands Police thanked members of the public for their support during the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Det Insp Caroline Corfield said: \u201cI would like to thank the community for their support over the last few days, the response to our appeals has been excellent.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The funeral of a mother and daughter who were murdered in Solihull took place Tuesday 4 September.
