Gallery 37 is part of the 25 Year Anniversary for its Sister City partnership between Birmingham City Council and its twin city Chicago – the original founder of G37.<\/p>\n

G37 2018 is working with over 60 artists between 16- 25 years hailing from across the cities diverse communities. G37 Artists represents Birmingham\u2019s Creative Future , with its 4 month programme throughout Digbeth venues and partnerships firmly rooting the project in the the city\u2019s creative heart-beat.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Andy Street (Metro Mayor) will be opening its brand new exhibition at 5pm on Friday 7th September with live performances from poets Jay L\u2019Booth & Tarik Ross Cameron ( 2 former G37 2016 Alumni now working full time in the creative industries )<\/p>\n

Presenting a group show for the first time, COMMA UTOPIA features new work from artists: Haseebah Ali, Maral Mamaghani Zadeh, Tanny Tizzle, Oliver Hassell, Hollie Ackroyd and Rose Christina; co-curated with established artists Jacqui Granger & Rob Hewitt. Exploring the theme Common | Wealth the exhibition offers a youth engaged questioning of their relationship to the city with the Games looming on the 2022 horizon.<\/p>\n

Friday 7th September opens at 5pm – 11pm<\/p>\n

Saturday 8th September opens at 11am until 6.30pm with workshops from<\/p>\n

1.30pm-3pm and spoken word performances throughout.<\/p>\n
