The programme is also currently shown on Sky TV.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>The youngster beat 14,000 other hopefuls to the top spot, after an online general knowledge quiz, engineering exams, a televised interview, a TV quiz and practical \u2018scrapheap challenge\u2019.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Speaking about his success, Arvind said: \u201cI feel very privileged to have won.\u00a0 Several of my friends also entered, but they fell by the wayside. This gives me the opportunity to study abroad, as well as attend such a well-respected institution.\u00a0 I never considered Warwick before as I could not have afforded this.\u201d<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nArvind will receive a full scholarship for his four years of study.\u00a0 This will cover living and accommodation expenses as well as his course fees. The scholarship will total \u00a380,000.<\/div>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Richard Fern, spokesman for Warwick University said: \u201cMaintaining standards was our first priority.\u00a0 Arvind\u2019s abilities far exceed our normal entry qualifications.\u00a0 \u201cWarwick only takes the brightest and the best \u2013 Arvind is certainly both of these.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u201cScholar Hunt was more \u2018Academic Apprentice\u2019 than Big Brother.
