{"id":26750,"date":"2018-06-13T13:51:26","date_gmt":"2018-06-13T12:51:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/?p=26750"},"modified":"2018-06-13T13:51:26","modified_gmt":"2018-06-13T12:51:26","slug":"vicious-brawl-in-alum-rock","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2018\/06\/13\/vicious-brawl-in-alum-rock\/","title":{"rendered":"Vicious Brawl in Alum Rock"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">A vicious street fight broke out in Alum Rock on Tuesday 13 June at around 8pm. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Footage taken by a passer-by shows one man, caught up in a mass brawl getting a weapon which appears to be wrench from the boot of a VW Golf R and within seconds attacks another thug. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The fight involving young men in full flow on the junction of Alum Rock Road and College Road, in Alum Rock. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">In the heat of the mayhem, a lone woman tries to break up the street violence without any regard for her own safety.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The woman steps in and with her arms outstretched as she tries to separate the fighting. Her actions are in vain, as one man returns to the boot, pulls his hoodie up but is promptly knocked aside by a karate kicking individual.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">the video ends with the heated men in a tense stand-off.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">A West Midlands Police spokesman said: \u201cWe received a call at just after 8.20pm to reports of a disorder.
