A gang member, Dilpreet Singh, has claimed responsibility for the attack and has claimed to have shot him, said he was lucky to be alive and has threatened to kill him.<\/p>\n
Parmish was travelling with his crew after a live act in the city when a few unidentified people were following his car and opened fire at him on the highway. The friend was also injured.<\/p>\n
The Haryana Police arrested a man from Himachal Pradesh’s Solan district in connection with the\u00a0attack on Punjabi singer Parmish Verma, police said.
\nHarvinder Singh alias Happy, a resident of Baddi in Himachal Pradesh, was arrested they said.
\nThe Haryana Police has taken him for interrogation.<\/p>\n
Police are investigating the reasons behind the attack on the 31-year-old singer, who shot into limelight with the foot-tapping number in 2017. The hit song \u201cGaal Ni Kadni\u201d has over 118 million views on YouTube.<\/p>\n
