{"id":25879,"date":"2018-03-02T23:25:49","date_gmt":"2018-03-02T23:25:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/?p=25879"},"modified":"2018-03-02T23:25:49","modified_gmt":"2018-03-02T23:25:49","slug":"sari-shop-ward-end-raided","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2018\/03\/02\/sari-shop-ward-end-raided\/","title":{"rendered":"Sari Shop in Ward End Raided"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Three raiders stormed into a Ward End sari shop before making off with cash,<\/p>\n<p>CCTV footage shows the moment a shop owner tried to push a masked robber from his shop after a cashier was threatened with a knife.<\/p>\n<p>The three crooks enter the shop and help themselves to large amount of cash from the till.<\/p>\n<p>Shopkeeper at Sana Collections, which is located on Washwood Heath Road, paces over and pushes a robber who was keeping watch in the doorway.<\/p>\n<p>As their fellow crook is pushed outside of the shop, the two remaining robbers make a run for the exit and the trouble spills outside.<\/p>\n<p>West Midlands Police asked: &#8220;Can you help us catch them?<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Some of the suspects were wearing face coverings at the time of the robbery &#8211; but we\u2019re hopeful someone might recognise them as they were wearing distinctive clothing.<\/p>\n<p>Investigating officer PC Stephen Tighe, said: \u201cSomeone in the area will know who this is. They\u2019re wearing distinctive clothing and are likely live in the local area themselves. I would urge anyone with information to contact me on 101.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
