Doctors are looking into whether a ground-breaking skin graft treatment in Europe may help an end to his agony.<\/p>\n
Moin has said \u201cHaving this treatment would change my life completely, It\u2019s such a big thing. I dreamed about getting treatment like this when I was smaller<\/p>\n
It is been said that the treatment will be long and painful, involving regular skin grafts for between six to 12 months, either at the Epidermolysis Bullosa headquarters in Italy or the main treatment centre in Austria.<\/p>\n
Younis family have started raising funds for their trip while they wait to hear from the doctors.<\/p>\n
The treatment will be a trial and funded but they will need around \u00a3250,000 for their flights and accommodation for up to 12 months in Europe.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt will be a lengthy treatment but it will be worth it,\u201d said Moin, who has two older brothers.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt least I know something is happening now.<\/p>\n
\u201cBefore I had nothing to hold onto. I\u2019d just get up, do my skincare and live with it.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow the ball\u2019s rolling and I can hold onto this treatment and say there is something out there for me.<\/p>\n
\u201cHope is the most important thing.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m trying not to think about my treatment too much at the moment because it hasn\u2019t happened and I don\u2019t want to get excited about something that hasn\u2019t happened.\u201d<\/p>\n
The treatment was discovered after a boy called Hassan, who lives in Germany, was given a series of life-saving operations to provide him with a new genetically modified skin that covers 80 per cent of his body.<\/p>\n
The boy skin was described as being as fragile as butterfly\u2019s wings.<\/p>\n
Moin\u2019s mum Shafia said: \u201cHassan was dying because so much of his skin was \u2018burned\u2019 by the condition.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow, nearly two years on, he\u2019s playing football, running and walking. He seems to be leading a normal life.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re hoping this treatment can help Moin too.\u201d<\/p>\n
The family said if they raise the money and then Moin is unable to have the treatment, they will return the donations or give them to charity.<\/p>\n
Moin was named Teenage Child of Courage at Pride of Britain award last year and has been given a lot of support from celebrities over the years including footballers David Beckham and Jermain Defoe.<\/p>\n
