Last Saturday saw the second Annual Midlands Asian Wedding Awards, and the evening went off with a bang! Organised by Monsoon Venue Group and sponsored by East End Foods and Barclays the evening started with a wonderful glitz filled drinks reception, courtesy of Crush Cocktails, with our guests being greeted into the venue by two of the lovely showgirl dancers from the RnR Productions Company.<\/p>\n
The event saw many prominent figures come to show their support for this pioneering awards ceremony, from all different domains within the wedding industry. The evening had a wonderful feeling of comradery and excitement from and for all our short listers, guests and judges.
\nThe host for this glamour filled evening was none other than the delightful and charismatic actor Ameet Chana whom, with his effortless charm, made the night immensely entertaining!<\/p>\n
The evening kicked off with a spectacular performance from the incredibly talented Shin Parwana and DCS treating our guests to a medley of music to really get everybody in the mood for a wonderful party. The marvellous RnR Productions dancers kept the vibe going during the awards with a wonderful bhangra fusion show. We ended the entertainment for the evening on an absolute high; with comedian and actor Guz Khan bringing down the house with laughter, his hilarious set kept everyone howling long after he left the stage.<\/p>\n
The winners were announced to uproars of applause from fellow nominees and peers, accepting their awards and certificates before heading out to our media area for professional photos with our official photographers at Silver Fox Pictures and an interview with media partner BritAsia TV<\/p>\n
