AN eight-year-old boy has described the moment he thought he was going to die after robbers held a gun to his head before stealing his mother\u2019s car.<\/strong><\/div>\n

Ifnan Aslam, who has cancer, was with his mother, Nabeela Aslam, 27, at a petrol station in Manchester when thieves struck.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

They pointed a gun at Ifnan before dragging him out and making off with the family\u2019s BMW X5.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Describing the carjacking horror, Ifnan said he thought the men would shoot him and his mother. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

“I was very frightened when the man put the gun to my head\u201d, he said.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought he was going to shoot me and mummy. He pushed the gun into my head and it hurt.” <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Ifnan\u2019s mother, Nabeela, said the incident had affected her young son.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

“I can’t believe that this has happened to us,” she said. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

“You assume that you are fairly safe in a public place in broad daylight. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

“Ifnan has been through such a lot and this has really affected him. He is worried about getting back in the car and doesn’t want to go back to that petrol station.” <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

She added: “That car was my pride and joy and to think that someone feels they have the right to come and take it off me in such a violent way makes me angry. <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

“This has had a huge impact on our family, particularly Ifnan, but I won’t let it stop me going about my daily business.” <\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The family\u2019s car was later found abandoned and police are searching for three men in connection with the carjacking.<\/div>\n
