Jerry Lewis was an undeniable genius an unfathomable blessing, comedy\u2019s absolute! I am because he was!\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Legenadary director Martin Scorcese, who worked with Mr. Lewis on \u201cThe King of Comedy\u201d, said in a statement:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Jerry Lewis was a master. He was a giant. He was an innovator. He was a great entertainer. He was a great artist. And he was a remarkable man. I had the honour of working with him, and it was an experience I\u2019ll always treasure.
