41-year-old Basharat Ali died at the crash scene in Erdington at Birmingham Trade Park last Thursday, June 16.<\/p>\n
The lorry driver and a witness have been treated for shock.<\/p>\n
Mr Ali was recognized as Bash and worked in the taxi industry.<\/p>\n
A number of tributes were posted the Mail\u2019s Facebook page and on an online memorial page that was set up in his memory.<\/p>\n
One of his children posted a touching picture on Sunday displaying a pair of socks saying: \u201cDad\u2019s socks\u201d and the message: \u201cDaddy\u2019s present\u201d.<\/p>\n
A previous message read: \u201cMy first Father\u2019s Day without you daddy, your presents waiting for you right here in my hands\u201d.<\/p>\n
Others recalled Mr Ali as a kindhearted, smiling man who would always go out of his way to help others.<\/p>\n
Shokey Ali said he was a \u201cvery nice person with a bubbly personality who always had a beautiful smile\u201d.<\/p>\n
Pablo Shoky wrote: \u201cI\u2019ve known Bash since school junior and he proved to be humble, honest, funny, hilarious, trustworthy and great.\u201d<\/p>\n
On the Mail\u2019s Facebook page, Becky E Wade remembered how Mr Ali helped as she was frequently rushed to hospital before the early birth of her twins.<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cRIP Bash.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou helped us with our twin boys when they were prematurely born \u2013 rushed us into hospital about 15 or 20 times.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo many nights we had to phone for a taxi from Regency and every time Bash would phone to do it himself.<\/p>\n
\u201cRest in peace, may all the angels watch over you.\u201d<\/p>\n
And Samantha Mclaren posted: \u201cRIP, such a sad and tragic loss thoughts go to all your family and friends.<\/p>\n
\u201cI remember Bash from many years ago.<\/p>\n
\u201c(He was) always smiling and friendly.<\/p>\n
