His bike was stolen and in his fury, Ali told a police officer, Joe Martin that he wanted to beat up the thief.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, Joe Martin allegedly told him, \u201cWell, you better learn how to fight before you start challenging people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Joe Martin was not only a police officer, but he also trained young boxers at a local gym. He boasted about his skills before fights, and was known for his colourful descriptions and expressions.<\/p>\n<p>A famous quote by Ali was created when he told reporters that he could \u2018float like a butterfly, sting like a bee\u2019 in the boxing ring.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>His Other Fight<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ali was not only known as a boxing champ, but also for his fight against inequality. He became Muslim in 1964, after some spiritual searching.
