face further legal action, but most don\u2019t know that there is more to the large vehicle, than meets the eye.<\/p>\n<p>The former M&amp;S delivery lorry has been transformed by Azam, into functioning living space with all the homey luxuries one would expect.<\/p>\n<p>The impressive \u00a310,000 transformation, features two bedrooms, two bathrooms and living room space, as well as with a corner bath, sliding patio doors and even a lift.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/MS-lorry-transformed-into-House.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-13749\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13749\" for \u00a33,500, before he transformed the 59 sq metre space after delays with his house sale prevailed.<\/p>\n<p>Iftikhar said: \u201cI did it up to a good standard so I could live in it when I was looking for a home.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI put in a kitchen with a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, built-in appliances, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, a living room and a lift as there was already one there to stack pallets.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/MS-lorry-transformed-into-House.jpgpij.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-13750\"><img he moved his live-in truck to his mother\u2019s residence on Brays Road, in Sheldon that he began to receive the neighbourly complaints.<\/p>\n<p>Locals have lodged hundreds of complaints, saying that the truck\u2019s appearance hit them like a \u201csmack in the face\u201d as they passed.<\/p>\n<p>Now Mr Azam is set to sell the transformed lorry at the threat of legal action from Birmingham City Council which is treating the trailer\u2019s arrival as unauthorised.<\/p>\n<p>The dad-of-one, who eventually moved to an address in Yardley Wood, said: \u201cIt wasn\u2019t meant to be here that long, a sale fell through.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA friend was meant to take it to Scotland but he changed his mind.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to sell it for \u00a32,000 because otherwise the council will tow it away and put the charge, with costs, onto my mother\u2019s property.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m looking for someone who can make good use of it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m going to miss it but I\u2019m now in a comfortable location.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt suited my purpose and I want to offload it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/kjjk-1.jpg\" \u201cFollowing an investigation by a senior enforcement officer, we wrote to the householder, requesting that the unauthorised container be removed within 28 days.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDespite an extension to the deadline being granted at the request of the householder, the container has still not been removed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe council is now considering further action, which may include serving an enforcement notice,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Councillor Paul Tilsley (Lib Dem, Sheldon) said: \u201cThey have been hundreds of complaints from residents who have been lumbered with an absolute eyesore on their doorstep.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s like a smack in the face when you see it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe councillors took it up with the city\u2019s planning department straight away.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe served the owner with an enforcement notice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think he is quite frankly taking the mickey.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Branded as
