{"id":11755,"date":"2016-01-06T13:37:32","date_gmt":"2016-01-06T13:37:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tat.reddaisytrading.co.uk\/index.php\/2016\/01\/06\/alum-rock-in-gun-shock\/"},"modified":"2016-01-14T12:07:02","modified_gmt":"2016-01-14T12:07:02","slug":"alum-rock-in-gun-shock","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2016\/01\/06\/alum-rock-in-gun-shock\/","title":{"rendered":"Alum Rock in Gun Shock"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\">\n<p>Gun shots were heard on Sladefield Road just before 3pm on Monday the 4<sup style=\"font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; line-height: 26px; color: #222222;\">th<\/sup> of January.<\/p>\n<p>The gun attack yielded no victims, but a C-Max car and bullet castings were recovered from the scene for forensic examination.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives are searching for a blue Honda Jazz, a silver Ford Mondeo and a grey Volkswagen Polo or Golf, all of which are believed to be involved in the attack.<\/p>\n<p>Police have confirmed the shooting is being classified as a targeted incident.<\/p>\n<p>The alleged attack occurred just 24 hours before the head of the West Midlands Police force expressed fears that shooting were occurring with \u201cconcerning irregularity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have had some very serious incidents and there has been a concerning regularity of shootings that I have not seen in the five years that I have been here\u201d said the chief constable.<\/p>\n<p>Figures from the Office for National Statistics emerged last year that showed the West Midlands had now overtaken London in gun crime.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gun shots were heard on Sladefield Road just before 3pm on Monday the 4th of January.
