Of course they were extortionately priced designer clothing most of us can only dream owning.  <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>As l grew up l realised you don\u2019t have to spend hundreds to look and feel great. You just need to know the designer trends and rock them with your very own identity.  <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>This month\u2019s fashion feature we take a look at <strong><font color=\"#FF00FF\">London Fashion Week<\/font><\/strong> because it\u2019s the place to find emerging everyday trends for all you <span>British Asians. <\/span> <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p><span>I pick three favourite British Asian fusion looks you need to be rocking;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p><span><strong><img decoding=\"async\" hspace=\"10\" border=\"1\" vspace=\"10\" align=\"left\" src=\"http:\/\/theasiantoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/sarak-march-lfw-500x2501.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/strong><\/span><span><strong><br \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p><span><strong><br \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p><span><font color=\"#FF00FF\"><strong>Antonio Berardi<\/strong><\/font>\u00a0paired a contrasting pattern dupatta style waistcoat with a v-neck coat jacket and tailored trousers. The dupatta had piping in the centerfolds to create a tailored affect. It\u2019s a simple way of jazzing up a coat or jacket you\u2019re bored of wearing. <\/span> <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p><span><font color=\"#FF00FF\"><strong>Temperley<\/strong><\/font> is a designer brand loved by many and one to watch for most Asians. The latest collection London Fashion Week collection features a longline\u00a0kimono tailored jacket with geo patterns topped with a dupatta with tassels. We normally see these types of trends on South Asian runways and Middle-Eastern brands but Temperley brings the eastern flavour to Britain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p><span>And l haven\u2019t forgotten all you ladies who want to feel comfortable yet elegant for a more evening look we would suggest taking trend tips from the next designer. <font color=\"#FF00FF\"><strong>J JS Lee<\/strong><\/font>&#8216;s swanky silvery longline maxi jacket up to the ankles was a big hit. As J JS Lee does just add a collar blouse and matching trousers with a subtle chain waist belt. <\/span> <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p><span>You now have some wonderful alternatives for your eastern and western wardrobe ladies!
