It does not solely feature women wearing the niqab but  rather a range of Muslim women\u2019s stories. A digital arts instillation,  it aims to be a kaleidoscope of inter-generational experiences that  combines artistic forms and engaging tales. <br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nIt will also feature a poem written by Adshead and performed by the company.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nIn 2013 Kira Cochrane for The Guardian revealed, \u201c&#8230;the Conservative MP  Sarah Wollaston compared the niqab to an \u2018invisibility cloak\u2019 and said  women should be clear that the burqa is a symbol not of liberation but  of repression and segregation\u2019 What has been missing from many of these  arguments is the voice of Muslim women.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe award winning performing arts company specialise in bringing to  light human rights stories. Founded by Kay Adshead and Lucinda Gane in  1999, the company focus on the female angle of issues affecting society.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nContributing to writing, Adshead is a British actress, poet and  theatrical producer. Having graduated from RADA in 1974, her extensive  work includes productions of The Bogus Woman, Bites and Bones, all  shortlisted for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nLive productions of \u2018Veil\u2019 will showcase at the following venues:<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nZ-Arts, Manchester<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n8 November 2014: <br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n11 am to 9 pm, with live performances at 12 pm, 3 pm and 6 pm.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nHolbeck Underground Ballroom (HUB), Leeds<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n15 November 2014:<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n11 am to 9pm, with live performances at 3 pm, 5 pm and 7:30 pm.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThe production is created by Shanaz Gulzar and Kully Thiarai with  written words by Kay Adshead.
