You are invited to join the guests at Clare and Arjun\u2019s wedding reception. It\u2019s a celebration of a mixed marriage between a country girl and a lad from the city, with all their friends and family.\u00a0 What could possibly go wrong?\u00a0\u00a0<\/font><\/div>\n

This fast moving new comedy drama is full of mishaps and misunderstanding with plenty of neat twists and a disco Bhangra dance for everyone to join in at the end.\u00a0 Everyone loves a wedding don\u2019t they?\u00a0The cast of four play the bride, groom, father of the bride and mother of the groom, along with a multitude of other characters who make an appearance at the wedding.<\/font><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Based on real people\u2019s experience of mixed marriages or rural weddings attended by city dwellers out of their comfort zone, this is a fun, light hearted exploration of relationships across the divides of rural\/urban, race and gender.<\/font><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The play is a\u00a0new three way co-commission from Black Country Touring<\/a>,\u00a0<\/font>Arts Alive\u00a0<\/font><\/a>and\u00a0<\/font>Kali Theatre<\/font><\/a>\u00a0and is based on the lives and stories of local people.\u00a0The show is touring over October \u2013 November 2014 visiting venues and village halls across Shropshire and the Black Country.<\/font><\/div>\n
