How did you get on board with Tamanche Pe Disco?<\/strong><\/div>\n

It all started with a call from\u00a0Sameer Gogate, who put\u00a0us\u00a0in touch with one of the producers\u00a0of Bullett Raja,\u00a0Nitin Ahuja. He had requested a track from our music\u00a0bank\u00a0given the short deadline. \u00a0As we do, we showcased them a couple of different numbers\u00a0but a pre-made version of Tamanche Pe Disco was selected.<\/p>\n

How was it working with Saif and Sonakshi?<\/strong><\/div>\n

\u00a0<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

These\u00a0superstars are very grounded.\u00a0Saif was\u00a0extremely\u00a0focused on how he wanted the music and had a real flare for hearing a hit! \u00a0After seeing our takes at the shoot, he insisted we did one scene with him for the song\u00a0and it was\u00a0a pleasure working with him. Sonakshi, as well as\u00a0being\u00a0stunning in person, was very humble and great to\u00a0interact\u00a0with.<\/p>\n

The song has a very rustic yet a very contemporary beat, what was the concept behind it?<\/strong><\/div>\n

We tried a slightly different approach for this song and used the lyrical knowledge of Raftaar to give it more of a UP flavour. The music\u00a0still has the\u00a0signature RDB\u00a0sound.\u00a0<\/p>\n

What was your inspiration for the track?<\/strong><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The theme of the movie had some part to play\u00a0with the composition of the track\u00a0as well as\u00a0the trademark\u00a0UP\u00a0gangster\u00a0lifestyle.<\/p>\n

How did Raftaar and Nindy come onboard?<\/strong><\/p>\n


\nThe song required female\u00a0vocals\u00a0and who better to suit than Nindy Kaur. \u00a0Raftaar not only added\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0theme\u00a0of the song with his lyrics but uplifted the track further by adding\u00a0his rap\u00a0performance\u00a0to parts\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0track.\u00a0Nindy and Raftaar are a killer combination.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fun moments on the set while shooting the song?<\/strong><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n


\nEvery shoot is a great and unique experience, but I think this one was the fastest arranged shoot ever. \u00a0The track was made within three days after which the whole shoot was arranged in two. Within a week the track was composed, paid for, excepted and shot. Only in India! <\/div>\n

\nHow does the track compare to what you have done earlier?<\/strong><\/p>\n


\nTamanche Pe Disco represents the first time RDB has collaborated with\u00a0Saif. The track also moves away from our trademark Bhangra \/ Punjabi beat as we experiment with a\u00a0UP\u00a0flavour so our fans are in for a real treat!<\/p>\n

Who are the key musical influencers in your life?<\/strong><\/p>\n


\nWe would definitely say our father, our late brother Kuly and each other in the team.<\/p><\/div>\n

What are the future projects in Bollywood that you are working on?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n


\nWe have five upcoming projects, two of which are with new up and coming casts and the other three are with A-list stars. Our main highlight is that we are now officially releasing our collaboration track with T-Pain on the 21st of November with Universal in India and Three Records internationally. Our Album is also set to release in December.<\/p><\/div>\n
