{"id":10266,"date":"2015-03-16T11:38:08","date_gmt":"2015-03-16T11:38:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tat.reddaisytrading.co.uk\/index.php\/2015\/03\/16\/andy-moles-misses-his-brummie-curries\/"},"modified":"2015-03-16T11:38:08","modified_gmt":"2015-03-16T11:38:08","slug":"andy-moles-misses-his-brummie-curries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/index.php\/2015\/03\/16\/andy-moles-misses-his-brummie-curries\/","title":{"rendered":"Andy Moles Misses His Brummie Curries"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content\">\n<h3>  Afghanistan cricket coach: \u201cThe curries are better in Birmingham than Kabul!\u201d<\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" vspace=\"10\" hspace=\"3\" border=\"1\" align=\"middle\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theasiantoday.com\/Image\/ArticleImages\/andy-moles-misses-brummie-curries-467x184.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nAndy Moles has admitted he&#8217;s missing Birmingham&#8217;s curries since he&#8217;s taken on the task of coaching Afghanistan&#8217;s national cricket team.&#13;<\/p>\n<p>The former Brummie cricketer has said that he misses his favourite dish now that he&#8217;s based in Afghanistan, claiming that the curries in his home city are much better than those in the country&#8217;s capital, Kabul.  <\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>The 54-year-old said in an interview: \u201cEveryone who knows me will tell you I like a good curry but the curries are better in Birmingham than in Kabul.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>The former Warwickshire batsman, who began coaching Afghanistan late last year said that, despite the security issues within the war-torn country, he feels safe working there.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<div dir=\"LTR\" id=\"page\">&#13;<\/p>\n<div dir=\"LTR\" id=\"row1\">&#13;<\/p>\n<div dir=\"LTR\" id=\"row2\">&#13;<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cThe \t\t\tpeople have been very kind to me and made me feel very welcome.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve got a \t\t\tbrother who used to work for the Metropolitan Police in \t\t\tanti-terrorism.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe advised me not \t\t\tto go because of the security issues.
