A Midlands Motor Firm near Solihull had over £25,000 worth of cars go up in flames in an arson attack in the early hours of Sunday 7 December.

CCTV shows Two men in grey hoodies throwing what appeared to be petrol bomb at the vehicles  and fire crew were called out to IQ Services Ltd on Valley Road, near Solihull shortly before 1am.

A total of eight vehicles were destroyed in the fire and they included two Toyotas, One Seat Ducanto, a Renault Scenic, VW Beatle, Audi and Peugeot.

The owner Qasib Iqbal aged 29 said the attack had taken away his livelihood and has totally devastated me.

The car sales and recovery firm had only been opened less than a week.

Mr Iqbal said “Seven cars and a recovery truck were damaged and I estimated it has caused around £25,000 worth of damage to the vehicles and some damage to the building.”

A fire investigation has taken place and is being treated as arson.
