Message from the West Midlands to terrorists:
We are not afraid.
You cannot win.
It’s our tolerance, openness, decency and diversity that makes this the greatest place on earth, and nothing you do will ever change that.
The hundreds of thousands of Muslims in our region are not like you.
The problem is not with them. And it’s not with us. It is with you.
The sickness is yours, not ours.
And, yes, we are very sad today, and it’s hard not to be angry.
But we are not afraid.
Nothing here will change because of you.
You cannot win.
