Adderley Primary school have suffered a Relationship breakdown with City Council

The Ofsted rating for the primary school has been downgraded from “good” to “requires improvement”.

Ofsted revealed officials from Adderley had been, “distracted from their main functions by a breakdown in the relationship with the local authority and an ongoing situation with regard to allegations made by former staff.”

Adderley was one of the schools named in the original Trojan Horse letter.

They also stated that negative issues with staff and a poor relationship with the local authority have shifted focus from important issues with the school.

“As a result there is a lack of clear and transparent communication between the two and the school is not benefiting from the partnership with and oversight by the local authority that is usually expected in a maintained school.”
