Some frequently asked questions
Who can use the service?
Anyone calling from inside the UK can use the Call2Call service from any landline or mobile phone that allows access to numbers beginning with 08 and 09, our access numbers are generally not available from overseas. Please remember to ensure that you have the bill payer’s permission before using the service.
Do I need to register or make any prepayment?
No, all you need to do is dial the Call2Call access number; there are no accounts to set up or prepayments to make.
How am I billed for the international calls I make?
BT will charge you our advertised pence per minute rate which is billed by the second, charges by other providers including mobile operators may vary. We always recommend that you check with your provider before using the service.
Do you apply any additional charges?
We do not apply any additional charges, however if your call provider charges a minimum call set up fee or connection fee then this will apply as normal.
Is VAT included in the price?
Yes, when you receive your bill from BT, Cable or your Mobile provider it will show the net value of the call with VAT added at the end of the bill.
When do I start being billed?
Billing, via your provider will start when you connect to the service.
